Waterjet Cutting

WEB CORRECTION18

What is Waterjet?

Waterjet is the process of cutting material with the high pressure of water, passing through an ultra-hard nuzzle, usually sintered Boride.

The required pressure to pump out water is ranging between 210-620 Mpa, allowing an incredible velocity of about Mach 3 (2,500 ft/sec or 760 m/sec) to so-called to pass through the hard nozzle.

Due to the high velocity of water through the head and the caused heat due to the friction, there is a steady flow of water coolant system, controlling the temperature of the head component

Abrassibve Whaterjet    AWJ

There are two main waterjet cutting systems, the basic system refers to the use of water only as the medium to cut the product, however, based on Dr. Mohamed Hashish effort in 1984, some abrasives such as garnet could be added to water, making it much stronger to cut thicker and stronger metals. This process is called Abrasive Waterjet (AWJ).

What is HAZ?

To cut material, a huge amount of heat is used to melt it or a high amount of heat is generated to grind it. The generated heat affects the properties of a radius in the proximity of the cutting kerf, so-called Heat Affected Zone (HAZ). High Strength, Wear Resistant, tool, and high-speed steel are examples of heat-treated material. Heating them to bend, shape or cut, result in losing promised mechanical properties in Heat Affected Zone HAZ. So, minimizing HAZ collaborates to maintain the promised mechanical properties

why Waterjet is a unique cutting solution? COLD CUT

Waterjet has the minimum kerf (0.5-1.5mm) with a zero HAZ, as the heated zone is continuously cooled.

This unique advantage has positioned Waterjet in an unrivaled cutting solution, vcategorized as a cold cut.

Because of the low cutting section (low kerf), many brittle materials are cut with Waterjet In seamless quality.

Water jet can save us scrap material, enabling us to consider the uncut shapes in the mother plate, as close to each other as possible, due to the tiny kerf.

Regarding exclusive advantages of Waterjet and Abrasive Waterjet cutting solutions, it is widely used in Defence and Army, Marine, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Mining and Metal, Automotive, Construction, Textile and much more.

Laser Cutting

WEB CORRECTION9

Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, and is typically used for industrial manufacturing applications. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser, by computer, at the material to be cut. The material then melts, burns, vaporizes away, or is blown away by a jet of gas, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish.

Router Cutting

WEB CORRECTION17

CNC Router is a high-tech computerized machine used for carving and cutting of an assortment of materials. Routers produce high quality exact and uniform craftsmanship. It is generally used for carving intricate designs to cutting a variety of shapes from Hardwood, Softwood, Plastics, Plywood, Aluminum, Laminates, and other types of soft material.

ISO 9001:2015 Certified

We are an ISO 9001:2015 registered company and has three of the largest CNC Waterjet Cutting state-of-the-art machines on our premises, in addition two CNC Laser Cutting (7’ x 13’ cutting bed) and two CNC Router Cutting machines.
